Bayer Cell Culture Technology Center is a new construction steel moment frame building designed to obtain an “Immediate Occupancy” performance classification.  Fluid Viscous Dampers within the moment frames helped to achieve this enhanced building performance. Adding dampers also helped significantly reduce foundation sizes by reducing moment frame overturning demands.
